But this campaign, relatively speaking, will not be fierce or hotly contested. Instead it'll be disappointing, embarrassing, and over very quickly, like a hand job in a Bangkok bathhouse. And everybody knows it. It's just impossible to take Mitt Romney seriously as a presidential candidate. Even the news reporters who are paid to drum up dramatic undertones are having a hard time selling Romney as half of a titanic title bout.

I couldn't agree more. Obama will win this election. I think the voters have already spoken regarding their feelings about entitled, flip-flopping, Northeastern politicians. (See: Kerry, John, 2004)

It's interesting how low technology is on that list. I always imagined the Kickstarter crowd as all techies supporting projects like Diaspora. I am happy to see the site has carved a niche with innovating funding of the arts. Keep giving and funding the arts! God knows, they need it.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has canceled a trip to London and Turkey for international conferences on cyber security and Afghanistan because of her mother's illness.

Clinton had been scheduled to depart Washington late Monday but decided against the trip when her mother, 92-year-old Dorothy Rodham, became ill.
A State Department official says Clinton will remain in Washington. The nature of her mother's illness was not released.

Guerilla street artist Olek spontaneously struck in Astor Place early Monday, crocheting a cover for the iconic “Alamo” cube sculpture.

The Polish-born artist — who’s created yarn covers for everything from cars and bicycles to the Financial District’s massive “Charging Bull” sculpture — took on the cube early Monday, posting a video of her enveloping the 1967 piece in her signature threads.
